Enso Huatai Paper Co., Ltd., established in April 2006, is the joint-venture of Stora Enso Group and Shandong Huatai Paper Co., Ltd., located in Dongying, Shandong Province. Stora Enso is an integrated paper, packaging and forest products company producing publication and fine papers, packaging boards and wood products, areas in which the Group is a global market leader. Shandong Huatai Paper is the biggest newsprint producer in China today. The Joint Venture imports the world-class production line to produce Super Calendar paper, and is being operated by advanced management. The first production is expected in the 4th quarter of 2007. Super Calendar paper is for graphical end uses, such as retailing chains’ advertising material, mass circulation magazines, catalogues, newspaper inserts, mail order material, supplements, etc.
